“Pancitas Felices” & “Listos O No”: New Spanish-Language Ads Highlight Gov. Hobbs’ Record of Cutting

Wednesday, July 22, 2026

PHOENIX – Today, Gov. Katie Hobbs’ campaign, in conjunction with the Navajo County Democratic Committee, released two new Spanish-language ads, “Pancitas Felices” (“Happy Bellies”) and “Listos O No” (“Ready Or Not”), spotlighting her work to provide school lunches for Arizona students, expand healthcare coverage for kids, and cut costs for working families.

Pancitas Felices” drives home Gov. Hobbs’ record of providing school lunches for 700,000 Arizona kids and lifting a daily financial burden off of working families. While Washington policies keep raising costs for families, Hobbs has taken action, cutting a real expense from family budgets and making sure Arizona kids are fed, healthy, and ready to learn.

Listos O No” highlights how Katie Hobbs’ working-class background — including her time driving for Uber — gives her a firsthand understanding of the challenges Arizona families face as a new school year brings new costs. As governor, she has cut taxes, secured more funding for childcare and afterschool programs, expanded KidsCare health coverage, and fought for school lunches for over 700,000 kids.

“700,000 kids are eating lunch today because Katie Hobbs has made it a priority to put Arizona families first,” said Michael Beyer, Communications Director for the Hobbs campaign. “While her opponent raises costs on hardworking Arizonans and rips meals away from families, Katie Hobbs is focused on lowering costs for working families and making sure that kids are fed so they can focus on learning, succeed in the classroom, and build a better future.”

The Hobbs campaign has prioritized early, robust communication to the Latino community in its paid media program. These new ads build on a previously announced multi-million-dollar Spanish buy highlighting how Katie Hobbs’ working-class background — from driving for Uber to support her family to helping domestic violence survivors rebuild their lives through social work — motivates her as governor to fight to lower costs, erase medical debt, reduce prescription drug prices, and create good-paying jobs across Arizona. On Monday, the campaign also launched Familias Primero, a coalition of Latino leaders, community members, and local elected officials working to re-elect her.

Pancitas Felices” is now airing on television, digital, and streaming platforms, while “Listos O No” is running on local radio stations and streaming services, ensuring the campaign reaches Arizonans wherever they watch, listen, and stream.
