PHOENIX – This past weekend, Gov. Katie Hobbs and her running mate, former Mesa Mayor John Giles, visited La Purisima Bakery in Glendale to discuss the impact of Washington’s cost-hiking policies and rallied supporters at the opening of Maryvale’s Copper State Victory coordinated campaign office.

  • Undrell Maholmes: Governor Katie Hobbs just toured a Glendale bakery, here’s what she saw. Sunday afternoon, Hobbs and running mate John Giles stopped at La Purisima Bakery in Glendale, walking the shop floor with managers. The campaign says the visit was about hearing directly from the bakery’s managers on how rising costs have hit their day to day operations.

  • Katie Hobbs: A couple years ago we launched the Microbusiness Loan Program that has now supported over 165 small businesses across the state. Small businesses that don’t have the access to capital that helps them grow. And along with those loans come a lot of other tools that help entrepreneurs, who are pursuing their dream, to learn more business skills so they can be more successful.
