PHOENIX – Today, Katie Hobbs launched a new ad, “Decisive,” showcasing her record of delivering on border security, supporting law enforcement, and investing in public safety to protect Arizona families and communities.
“Decisive” features Leesa Weisz, Arizona’s first Homeland Security Director, alongside retired Lieutenant Chris Timmins, who detail Hobbs’ work to secure Arizona’s southern border, including deploying the National Guard, increasing penalties for child traffickers and sex predators, and investing heavily in border security measures —even when it meant standing up to her own party to keep Arizonans safe.
“Katie Hobbs has consistently prioritized delivering real results to strengthen our border — including taking millions of fentanyl pills and thousands of illegal weapons off our streets,” said Michael Beyer, Communications Director for the Hobbs campaign. “She’s reached across the aisle to improve coordination between law enforcement agencies, curb the flow of drugs and weapons, and sign legislation to crack down on crime. Whether it’s her own party or Washington, Katie Hobbs will take on anyone to keep Arizonans safe.”
