GLENDALE – Today, Gov. Katie Hobbs and her running mate, former Mesa Mayor John Giles, visited La Purisima Bakery in Glendale to discuss the impact of Washington’s cost-hiking policies and rallied supporters at the opening of Maryvale’s Copper State Victory coordinated campaign office.

Katie and John visited La Purisima, a local Mexican bakery in Glendale that was recently crowned home of the best conchas in metro Phoenix. After sampling some of the bakery’s signature pan dulce, they spoke with managers about how rising costs driven by Washington policies have affected their day-to-day operations and ability to thrive.

Later, Katie and John joined local leaders, organizers, and volunteers to officially open Copper State Victory’s Maryvale coordinated campaign office, marking the latest step in building the grassroots operation that will power Democrats to victory across Arizona.
