PHOENIXÂ – Today, Gov. Katie Hobbsâ campaign released a new digital video, âBig Problem,â exposing Andy Biggs’ cost-hiking, extreme record in Washington and drawing a clear contrast for Arizona voters as the general election kicks off.
âBig Problem” details Biggs’ record of siding with billionaires over working families â voting against lowering health premiums, against reducing prescription costs, and against capping insulin prices. Biggsâ votes put eight Arizona hospitals at risk, all while Biggs keeps his own taxpayer-funded health plan. The video also highlights his support for raising the Social Security retirement age, dismissing inflation as non-existent, and backing a tax hike that independent analysts say would raise costs by 23 percent on everyday purchases. The video closes on Biggs’ record of protecting sexual abusers, including his opposition to a bill to clear the rape kit backlog and his vote against releasing the Epstein files.
âAndy Biggs has spent his career selling out Arizona families for billionaires, special interests, and even convicted sex offenders,â said Michael Beyer, Communications Director for the Hobbs campaign. âFrom voting to raise healthcare costs and threatening hospitals with closure to supporting a 23 percent sales tax on everything and repeatedly protecting predators instead of women and children, Biggsâ extreme record speaks for itself. The more Arizonans learn about Biggs, the more they’ll realize he’s one BIG problem Arizona can’t afford.â
The video is running across the campaign’s digital and social platforms.
