SAN LUIS – Today, Gov. Katie Hobbs visited Eddie’s Food & Drink, a local business in San Luis, toured the establishment and spoke with the owners about how rising costs driven by Washington policies have affected their day-to-day operations and their ability to thrive.
“I’ve sat down with restaurant owners across Arizona to learn more about the challenges they’re facing as Washington’s cost-hiking policies continue to drive up food, equipment, and operating costs,” said Gov. Katie Hobbs. “Running a restaurant is hard work. As governor, I’m proud to support local small businesses and their owners — people who are building something real, creating jobs, and keeping Arizona’s neighborhoods vibrant.”
This visit comes as Arizona’s small businesses struggle under Washington’s cost-hiking policies. As governor, Katie Hobbs has cut taxes for small businesses, launched the $5 million Arizona Microbusiness Loan Program, and expanded job training through BuildItAZ and community college partnerships — and she’ll keep fighting to give Arizona’s small businesses the support they need to grow.
