PHOENIXÂ –Â Today, Katie Hobbs launched a new ad, âDidnât Wait,â airing on television, streaming, and digital platforms, highlighting her record of standing up to powerful interests to secure Arizonansâ water.
âDidnât Waitâ details how Gov. Hobbs took action to terminate a water lease held by a Saudi-owned corporation that was draining Arizonaâs groundwater. During her first term, she has pushed back against her own party and the federal government to ensure Arizona’s water is for Arizonans.
“Katie Hobbs has tackled the biggest challenges other politicians kicked down the road â including standing up to a Saudi-owned company that was pumping Arizonaâs groundwater dry,â said Michael Beyer, Communications Director for the Hobbs campaign. âWhether itâs her own party, the federal government, or a foreign corporation, Katie Hobbs will take on anyone to protect Arizonaâs water.”Â
