PHOENIX – Today, Gov. Katie Hobbs launched Arizona Over Party, a coalition consisting of over fifty former and current Republican and Independent leaders, community members, and business professionals working to re-elect her.

Hobbs participated in a panel discussion focused on building a thriving economy for Arizonans with Chairman and CEO of Sunbelt Holdings John Graham and business leader Monica Villalobos, with remarks from Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Plaza Companies Sharon Harper. Arizona Over Party is among the earliest coalitions the Hobbs campaign has launched, underscoring her commitment to earning the vote of every Arizonan, regardless of their party affiliation.

“I’m so excited to be here today to launch Arizona Over Party, our coalition of Republican and Independent leaders, community members, and local elected officials who understand why it’s so important that we have a governor who is willing to work across the aisle to deliver for Arizona families,” said Katie Hobbs. “Andy Biggs disagrees and says that ‘bipartisanship is not my number one goal.’ That’s not what Arizonans need. We need Democrats and Republicans who are willing to come together to solve tough problems. If we want to see our state continue to thrive, we need leaders who will put partisan labels aside and get to work.”

Panel participants emphasized the importance of business development and economic growth in Arizona, as well as defending Arizona’s democracy and the integrity of our elections. They also discussed the stakes of the gubernatorial race, and underscored the importance of electing Katie Hobbs to secure Arizona’s economic future.
