PHOENIX – Today, Gov. Katie Hobbs continued her Arizona First tour, celebrating National Drive-Thru Day at the Tempe Burger King she worked at while in high school, and rallying supporters at the opening of Scottsdale’s Copper State Victory coordinated campaign office.
Katie celebrated National Drive-Thru Day at the Tempe Burger King where she worked in high school, meeting with the team inside. Having worked her way through college at NAU and ASU, Katie understands the challenges many Arizonans face today. So when she talks about making life more affordable for Arizona families, it’s not just talk — it comes from firsthand experience. That’s why, as governor, she has eliminated taxes on tips and overtime pay for Arizona workers.
Later, Katie and Senator Mark Kelly celebrated the official opening of the Copper State Victory coordinated campaign’s Scottsdale office alongside a crowd of local leaders, organizers, and volunteers. Katie is building the infrastructure needed to win in November in every corner of the state.
