Katie Hobbs and John Giles Rally Workers Across the Valley and Host US Soccer Watch Party

PHOENIX – Today, Gov. Katie Hobbs and her running mate, former Mesa Mayor John Giles, rallied workers across the Valley. They started the day with Arizona Carpenters Local 1912, rallying Carpenters and their families. From there, they joined AFSCME’s canvass launch, where they fired up union members and volunteers to knock doors and turn out the vote ahead of the general election. Finally, they wrapped up their day at the Maryvale Copper State Victory coordinated campaign office where they hosted a watch party for the USA v. Mexico soccer match.

With 31 days remaining until the general election, Katie and John rallied the Carpenters Local Union 1912 and spoke about what’s at stake in this election, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting workers, and shared their vision for Arizona.

Next, Katie and John joined AFSCME鈥檚 labor unity canvass launch where they fired up union members and volunteers ahead of doorknocking, spoke about the importance of GOTV efforts in this election, and encouraged everyone to cast their vote early.

Finally, Katie and John rounded out their day by joining forces with their Familias Primero coalition to hold a watch party at the Maryvale Copper State Victory coordinated campaign office where attendees mingled and watched the USA v. Mexico game.
