PHOENIX – On Sunday, October 11th, Gov. Katie Hobbs and her running mate, former Mesa Mayor John Giles, marched in the 45th Annual Phoenix Pride Parade alongside Representative Greg Stanton and the Maricopa County Democrats.
“Our state should always be a place where everyone feels welcome, respected, and free to be themselves — no matter who you are or who you love,” said Gov. Katie Hobbs. “Today is a chance to celebrate how far we’ve come, honor the courage of those who fought for equality, and recommit ourselves to making Arizona a welcoming place for everyone.”
Katie has marched in the Phoenix Pride Parade many times over the years, including as grand marshal in 2024. As governor, she has fought to end discrimination and make Arizona a state of equality and opportunity for everyone.
