PHOENIX – Today, as part of the Arizona First Tour, Gov. Katie Hobbs and her running mate, former Mesa Mayor John Giles, fired up supporters in Phoenix and encouraged Arizonans to make their voices heard in this election. Speakers included Senator Mark Kelly, Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, and Attorney General Kris Mayes.
“These are the stakes of this race: leaders who answer to Arizona or followers who answer to Washington,” said Gov. Katie Hobbs. “Every door you knock, every conversation you have – it matters. Talk to your friends, bring people to the polls, and let’s keep Arizona moving forward.”
Over the next four days, Hobbs and Giles will continue traveling across the state on their Arizona First Tour, meeting with educators, small business owners, students, workers, volunteers, organizers, and working families. The Arizona First Tour reflects their continued commitment to showing up, listening firsthand to Arizonans’ concerns, and fighting for lower costs and greater opportunity for every Arizona family.
