TUCSON – Today, Gov. Katie Hobbs and her running mate, former Mesa Mayor John Giles, hit the final stop of their Arizona First Tour in Tucson. They launched a canvass with the Copper State Victory campaign, visited Gibson Food Hall to hear directly from the owners about how Washington鈥檚 cost-hiking policies are squeezing their bottom line, and hosted a GOTV event, where they rallied southern Arizonans and encouraged them to make their voices heard.

Katie and John kicked off a canvass in Tucson, hosted by the Copper State Victory coordinated campaign, where they fired up volunteers and emphasized the importance of getting as many people as possible to the polls by Tuesday at 7:00 PM.

Next, Katie and John visited the Gibson Food Hall, where they toured the establishment and spoke with the owners about how rising costs driven by Washington policies have affected their day-to-day operations and their ability to thrive.

Finally, on the eve of Election Day, Katie and John hosted a GOTV event in Tucson, rallying more than 350 supporters and delivering their Arizona First message.

This concludes the Arizona First Tour, during which Hobbs and Giles traveled statewide, meeting with educators, small business owners, students, workers, volunteers, organizers, and working families. The Arizona First Tour reflects their continued commitment to showing up, listening firsthand to Arizonans’ concerns, and fighting for lower costs and greater opportunity for every Arizona family.
