New Ads Call Out Kari Lakeâs âSeriously Dangerousâ Ideas to Criminalize Abortion, Spy on Children, and Dismantle the FBI
The two ads unveiled by Katie Hobbsâ campaign and the Arizona Democratic Party use Lakeâs own words to highlight her dangerous positions
PHOENIX â Secretary of State Katie Hobbsâ campaign for governor and the Arizona Democratic Party unveiled the latest ads in their âSeriously Dangerousâ series that highlights the extreme ideas Kari Lake wants to impose on the state if she were to be elected governor. The ads are airing on television and digital devices across the state.
The first ad, titled âSheâs Serious,â calls out Lake for some of her most unhinged stances, including criminalizing abortion, putting cameras in classrooms to spy on Arizonaâs school children, and dismantling the nationâs top law enforcement agency.
The second ad, â1901,â delves deeper into her extreme positions on reproductive health care, including her full-throated endorsement of Arizonaâs pre-statehood law that bans all abortions with no exceptions for rape and incest and requires prison time for anyone who helps a woman seek an abortion.
Lake has doubled down on her extreme stances â even as her ultra-MAGA peers attempt to backtrack on the positions that won them the primary election. The Arizona Democratic Party sponsored the two ads, which represent a seven-figure investment to inform Arizona voters of the danger Lake poses to the state if elected.
