Katie Hobbs Spends Second Day of Solutions Can’t Wait Tour in Flagstaff, Phoenix

Hobbs marks start of GOTV weekend by emphasizing importance of union jobs, reproductive rights, and voting

PHOENIX – Secretary of State and Democratic nominee for Governor Katie Hobbs started the second day of her Solutions Can’t Wait bus tour by kicking off GOTV weekend with campaign activities in Flagstaff and Phoenix.

“As we head into the last few days before Election Day, I’m energized by Arizonans who are determined to fight for our state’s future,” Hobbs said. “With so much on the line, we can’t leave any vote on the table, and that’s why we’re reminding voters that solutions can’t wait.”

Hobbs started the day in Flagstaff, where she launched a canvass for excited volunteers and knocked on doors.

Hobbs continued her tour in Phoenix with a slate of events including the Teamsters picnic where she met union members and talked with them about the issues they   are most concerned about this election cycle.

Hobbs spoke at a press conference about an issue that is dear to her, as well as being an issue at the very top of Arizonans’ minds this election season: reproductive freedom. Throughout her campaign, Hobbs has spoken about the personal impact she felt when she experienced miscarriage herself. Arizona is currently one of the most impacted states in the nation with the fall of Roe v. Wade, with a pre-statehood abortion ban on the books that would criminalize all abortions with no exceptions for rape and incest.

Hobbs ended the evening with a rally with the Arizona Carpenters and other supporters where she encouraged supporters to vote because democracy is on the line.

Hobbs will finish the final leg of her tour tomorrow, with stops in Tucson.
