BISBEE – Katie Hobbs hit the road Saturday for the first day of her Arizona First Tour, meeting with voters across Southern Arizona to highlight her record of delivering bipartisan results, defending rural healthcare, and celebrating the communities that make Arizona strong.
Hundreds of Arizonans turned out in Tucson to cheer on Katie Hobbs as she kicked off her re-election tour, rallying supporters to put Arizona families first.
Katie fired up the crowd with a message focused on lowering costs, creating good-paying jobs, and keeping Washington’s chaos out of Arizona.
From Tucson, Katie traveled to Bisbee for a healthcare roundtable with doctors, nurses, hospital leaders, and residents to discuss the importance of protecting rural hospitals. She highlighted her work to shore up these hospitals, including her vote to expand Medicaid.
Katie highlighted her administration’s work to erase $429 million in medical debt for 352,000 Arizonans, protect Medicaid for 60,000 more, and expand telehealth statewide — showing how putting people over politics strengthens healthcare in every corner of the state.
The day concluded at the Bisbee Mariachi Festival and Miners Reunion, where Katie joined residents in celebrating a decade of music, culture, and community.
The Arizona First Tour will continue with upcoming stops in Tempe, Phoenix, and Yuma.
