Katie Hobbs Kicks Off Final Leg of Solutions Can’t Wait Tour in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Flagstaff

Hobbs fires up voters ahead of Election Day and delivers powerful closing argument

PHOENIX — As Election Day nears, Arizona Secretary of State and Democratic nominee for Governor Katie Hobbs kicked off the final leg of her Solutions Can’t Wait tour by getting out the vote and encouraging all Arizona voters to make their voices heard at the ballot box.

“Since the beginning of this campaign, I set out to address the most urgent issues facing Arizonans right now — combating rising costs, defending our rights and freedoms, and improving our public education system,” Hobbs said. “Solutions can’t wait, which is why we’ve traveled to every corner of the state to listen to voters from different backgrounds and communities. As a born and raised Arizonan who knows the value of a hard-earned dollar, this fight is personal for me.”

Early Friday morning, Hobbs rallied voters at the Solutions Can’t Wait tour kickoff, reiterating the stakes of this election and what’s on the line for Arizonans.

Hobbs then traveled by bus to stops at early vote centers including at Paradise Valley Community College and Arizona State University, meeting with young and first-time voters.

Educators joined Hobbs and Superintendent Kathy Hoffman for an education roundtable to talk about the teacher shortage crisis and importance of improving public education. Hobbs highlighted her Prepared Arizona plan, which prioritizes increasing teacher salaries, classroom resources, educational opportunities, and access to free child care.

Hobbs joined actress Kerry Washington, singer Camila Cabello, U.S. Senator Mark Kelly, and Gabby Giffords at a GOTV rally in South Phoenix. Volunteers cheered before they knocked on doors.

Hobbs closed out the day in Flagstaff at her alma mater Northern Arizona University’s homecoming, where supporters were fired up to hear from Hobbs and grab selfies — despite 30 degree temperatures!
