Katie Hobbs Earns the Endorsement of Reproductive Freedom for All

PHOENIX – Today, the Katie Hobbs campaign announced that Governor Katie Hobbs received the endorsement of Reproductive Freedom for All at an event in Phoenix alongside the organization’s President and CEO, Mini Timmaraju. 

“Governor Katie Hobbs is a proven fighter for reproductive freedom in Arizona,” said Mini Timmaraju, President and CEO of Reproductive Freedom for All. “As Trump and Republicans continue their crusade to gut health care and ban abortion nationwide, Arizonans need a governor who will hold the line and defend their freedoms without hesitation. Katie Hobbs is that governor, and Reproductive Freedom for All is proud to endorse her for reelection.”

“I am proud to earn the endorsement of Reproductive Freedom for All, an organization working every day to ensure that decisions about birth control, abortion, and starting a family remain with individuals—not out-of-touch politicians,” said Katie Hobbs. “From day one, I’ve fought to protect reproductive freedom by repealing Arizona’s 1864 total abortion ban, removing barriers to over-the-counter contraception, and helping enshrine the freedom to choose in our state constitution. I will always defend Arizonans’ freedom to make their own healthcare decisions.”

Since taking office, Katie Hobbs has made expanding the freedom to choose and opportunities for Arizona families a priority of her administration:

• Led the successful, bipartisan effort to repeal Arizona’s archaic 1864 total abortion ban.
• Signed an executive order protecting women and doctors from prosecution for seeking and providing reproductive healthcare.
• Supported Prop 139, enshrining the right to abortion in the Arizona Constitution and protecting reproductive freedom for generations to come.
• Expanded access to birth control by making it available over the counter, helping more women take control of their reproductive health.
• Defended the right of Arizonans to build their families, including access to fertility treatments like IVF.
• Made it easier for families to find affordable childcare for school-age children. 
• Delivered paid parental leave, childcare investments, and healthcare expansions for working families, benefitting over one million Arizonans.
