Vice Mayor Randy Keating Endorses Katie Hobbs for Governor

PHOENIX—Today, Vice Mayor of Tempe Randy Keating endorsed Secretary Hobbs for Governor. 

Secretary Hobbs is a proven leader that puts Arizonans over partisan politics,” said Vice Mayor of Tempe Randy Keating. “We need a governor like her who will work to improve our community by investing in infrastructure and schools and working to keep our  neighborhoods safe.

Vice Mayor Keating has devoted his career to helping the community by volunteering and meeting with community leaders to make Tempe a better place to live and work. Before being elected to Tempe City Council, Randy was recognized for his work in the community and received the City of Tempe’s MLK Diversity Award in 2016.

In addition to serving on the Tempe City Council, Randy has been a forceful advocate for projects in the community such as investments in Tempe’s parks, road repairs, and public safety. He has lead or served on working groups such as Adaptive Parks, Affordable Housing Opportunities, Annexing County Islands, Council Committee Transparency, Desert Conservation Board, My Brother’s Keeper, Renewable Energy Goals, Workforce Opportunities for People with Disabilities, and Youth Suicide Prevention. He looks forward to improving the city of Tempe alongside Katie Hobbs when she is elected governor.
