Katie Hobbs Unveils ‘Moment of Truth’ TV and Digital Ad

Ad highlights Hobbs’ fight to overcome threats of violence to defend democracy, ability to solve tough challenges

PHOENIX — Secretary of State Katie Hobbs’ gubernatorial campaign announced Tuesday its first television and digital ad of the election, backed by a seven-figure ad buy aimed at reaching millions of voters across the state. With a clear path through the primary, Hobbs is the only candidate on either side with the advantage of focusing on the general election and starting her communication to the broad swath of voters needed to win in November. The ad will run on broadcast and cable television, as well as various digital platforms.

The ad highlights the death threats and threats to her children that Hobbs overcame to do her job as Secretary of State and defend our freedom. She will take that same fight to the governor’s office and tackle Arizona’s biggest challenges: defending reproductive health care, lowering costs, and fixing our schools.

“As your Secretary of State, I knew I’d face attacks,” Hobbs said in the ad. “But when they came after my family, our state, our freedom – that’s where I draw the line. I’m running for governor because we need leaders who will get the job done, even when it’s tough.”

Katie Hobbs’ campaign has reported record-breaking grassroots fundraising, with more than $3.67 million raised as of March 31. And as Hobbs continues to share her vision for Arizona, with her most recently released Resilient Arizona plan, she continues to consolidate a diverse coalition of support across the state. Never having lost a race and the only candidate on either side who has won statewide, Hobbs has proven she has the strength and experience to fight and win – and get to work delivering real solutions to the problems facing Arizonans today.
