Katie Hobbs Redoubles Commitment to Defending Arizona’s Working Families on Labor Day

PHOENIX – In honor of Labor Day, Secretary of State and Democratic nominee for Governor Katie Hobbs reiterated her longstanding commitment to improve the lives of Arizona’s working families and provide relief from pressing issues like inflation.
“Arizona workers are the lifeblood of our state and our local economies,” Hobbs said. “Our working families need a proven leader who can deliver real solutions for their most urgent issues and create an equitable path toward a better quality of life. As governor, I will work night and day to ensure Arizona is the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”
Before the weekend, Hobbs attended the Arizona AFL-CIO Labor Day Breakfast and gave remarks to show solidarity with workers across the nation as the U.S. pro-worker movement benefits from its strongest momentum in decades.
Hobbs has spent her entire campaign listening to the needs of everyday Arizonans and creating plans around the issues hitting working families the hardest, such as the skyrocketing costs of living and attacks on access to reproductive health care. Hobbs also has been endorsed by the AFL-CIO and an historic coalition of Arizona’s largest unions.
