In Case You Missed It, EMILY’s List-endorsed gubernatorial candidates are working hard to lower the cost of living in their communities. Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs released her plan to expand economic opportunity as governor, while incumbent Govs. Kathy Hochul, Michelle Lujan Grisham, and Janet Mills all sprung to action this month to combat unrelenting rising prices for their constituents:

Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs’ released her “Affordable Arizona” plan as part of her gubernatorial campaign, which is aimed at addressing ongoing economic uncertainties. The plan includes a child tax credit for families earning less than $100,000 annually, permanent child care assistance, and exempting diapers, baby formula, over-the-counter medications and menstrual hygiene products from the Arizona sales tax.
