PHOENIX – As Arizona tunes in to the World Cup, Gov. Katie Hobbs recently placed a six-figure digital and streaming buy to air both English- and Spanish-language ads during the games. The ads âWorkâ and âNo Se Rindeâ are playing across Arizona through the end of the World Cup on July 19, as part of a multi-million-dollar statewide media campaign focused on meeting Arizonans where they are.
The World Cup highlights stories of resilience, hard work, and what we can accomplish when we support each other as a team. It’s a story Katie Hobbs knows well. Both spots show how Katie Hobbsâ working-class background â from driving for Uber to support her family to helping domestic violence survivors rebuild their lives through social work â motivates her as governor to fight to lower costs, erase medical debt, reduce prescription drug prices, and create good-paying jobs across Arizona.Â
âThe World Cup is one of the biggest events in the world, and Arizona families will be tuning in at watch parties and carne asadas in every corner of our state,â said Nicole DeMont, Katie Hobbsâ Campaign Manager. âBy placing these ads during one of the most-watched events of the year, Katie Hobbs is meeting Arizonans where they are and talking about the issues that matter most in their daily lives. While Washington continues to push chaotic and expensive policies, Katie is focused on lowering costs, expanding affordable housing, and rewarding the work ethic of Arizona families fighting to get ahead.â
