Katie Hobbs Kicks Off Back To Back Events Reaching Out To Voters
PHOENIX – Today, Secretary of State and Democratic nominee for governor Katie Hobbs spent her day traveling around to voter outreach events to rally supporters and motivate voters in the home stretch of election season. Hobbs spoke about the importance of talking to friends and neighbors about the election and helping them make a plan to vote. She also detailed what’s at stake in the upcoming election including restoring reproductive freedom, fighting inflation and securing Arizona’s water future.
At her first stop, Hobbs joined State Senator Christine Marsh and State Representative Laura Terech in Scottsdale to stress the importance of voting for great candidates up and down the ballot.
Next, Hobbs joined an AFL-CIO phone bank where she was met with chants of “Hobbs for Jobs!” She roused union members with her speech highlighting her plans to make Arizona the best place to live, work and raise a family. Hobbs then joined in making phone calls to voters.
Finally, Hobbs fired up volunteers at a Mission for Arizona canvassing event in Tempe to round out a morning of action.
With 10 days to go until election day, Hobbs and volunteers all over Arizona are knocking on every door and talking to every voter to ensure Kari Lake’s dangerous agenda gets nowhere near the governorship.
