Katie Hobbs Campaign Responds To Clean Elections Debate Invitation
PHOENIX – The Katie Hobbs for Governor campaign released a letter on Friday in response to the Citizens Clean Elections Commission’s invitation to participate in an upcoming debate. In the letter, Hobbs’ campaign proposes sensible modifications for the discussion that would give voters an honest look at the candidates’ policy plans, while avoiding the pitfalls of the GOP primary debate that turned Arizona into the subject of national ridicule. Additionally, Secretary Hobbs has committed to participating in two upcoming forums, one on Sept. 7 hosted by the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry and one on Oct. 3 hosted by the United States Chamber of Commerce, the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Univision Phoenix.
