Arizona State Legislators Endorse Katie Hobbs for Governor

PHOENIX—On the heels of Secretary of State Katie Hobbs’ gubernatorial kick-off, Democratic state legislators endorsed Secretary Hobbs for Governor.

Her endorsers include Democratic members from across Arizona. Half of the Democratic Caucus in the Arizona State Senate endorsed Hobbs.

“I am honored that so many trusted leaders across Arizona are supporting my campaign for Governor,” said Secretary of State Katie Hobbs. “These public servants understand that it’s time for our government to come together, end the partisan bickering, and deliver results for Arizonans. That’s what I will do as Governor.”

“As Arizona’s very first female Native American Senator, I am proud to support Katie Hobbs in her run for Governor,” said Senate Minority Whip Jamescita Peshlaki. “It is important that tribes across the state are heard and supported, and I know Secretary Hobbs is going to fight for us.”

“Government only works well if it runs well — Katie Hobbs knows that better than anyone because she has gotten results at every level of government”said Senator Martín Quezada. “Secretary Hobbs has proven time and again that she will always fight for what is best for us.”

“Secretary Katie Hobbs has faced down special interests, conspiracy theorists, and even violent threats — and has never backed down,” said Representative Pamela Powers Hanley. “As Governor, Secretary Hobbs will rise above partisan politics and deliver on the real issues that affect Arizonans.”
